There was also a grocery store nearby. the rooms were comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean. the service was good, and the breakfast was delicious. The noise level. Although the location was beautiful, it was next to a chicken farm that had noisy animals.

The location was somewhat quiet, with not many things to do around except for random people hanging around. the memorable experiences offered by the host compensated for it.

I had the most delightful stay at Vila Laura in Ribeira Grande. The owner, Emanuel, went above and beyond to make sure I had an incredible experience on Sao Miguel. He provided insider knowledge about the island and even treated me to a delicious homemade dinner. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with homemade cheese, butter, jam, and fresh fruits. The beautifully refurbished villa had a charming old-world atmosphere and was situated in a convenient location for exploring the island. I highly recommend this hidden gem for an unforgettable stay.
